Bio 11 : Osteoporosis

1. Osteoporosis occurs due to the lack of calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D in the diet of an adult.

2. There is low density of the bone mass and the bones become thin and brittle, and are easily broken.

3.The risk of contracting osteoporosis can be reduced in the following ways.
* Intake of fod rich in calcium, phophorus, and vitamin D
* Exercise frequently.
