Leala, Muniandy;s wife, enjoys watching television. However she was not happy with the picture quality on her television. She suggested to Muniandy mto adjust the aerial so as to get a better reception.
So Muniandy put a ladder up against the roof and climbed u to adjust the aerial. The roof was not a safe place to wake on and one could easily slip and fall.
Muniandy slipped and fell.
As he fell his friend fastened tightly onto the aerial that he was trying to adjust. This probably saved his wife. Down he came, but onlyhalfway. The aerial bent perilously but it held, and Muniandy was left hanging by his hands in mid-air. He shouted for help.
Seeing his pedicament, Leela ran to the neighbours for help. The nearest neighbour, Mr. Wong, heard Leela
's cry for help and ran out to investigate. He saw Muniandy's plight and quickly took the ladder to allow Muniandym to climb down safely.
Munianady thanked Mr. Wong gratefully for helping him. He could not stayed hanging by his hands for very long.
Back in the livng room, Muniandy sat down to recover from the shook. Leela sat down to o. She was suprised to notice that the television reception had improved tremendously now that the aerial was bent.
