PLUCKING THE MANGO

Ah Chongm was walking along the bank of a river. He saw a mango hanging from a branch of mango tree beside the river. Ah Chong wanted to get the mango.

However the mango was hanging above the river ang Ah Chong could not reach it with hand.

Ah Chong then leaned against the overhanging branch with one hand while he reached for the mango with the other. He succeeded in grasping the fruit.

Unfortunately the branch was not strong enough to hold Ah Chong's weight.With a loid crack, the branch broke and he fell into the river below.

What a splash ge made! His sandals went flying off his feet as well.

The river was not deep and Ah Chong could stand up in it. He was still holding the mango. What a disappointment it was he discovered that the mango was full of worms. He had got wet for nothing.
